There is a preview of the book available on Lulu that shows a sample of the years of research and care put into the book. The preview includes The table of contents, a section on George W. Tope (there's more in the miscellaneous section) and William Donaldson, a sample of the Civil War letters from George W. to his son William G. Tope a sample of the bibliography and a sample of the index.
The book includes many transcripts of rare documents including family Bibles from the Everhart Family, George W. Tope, and William G. Tope.
And goes off on several connecting families including: Hixon, Eachus, Rice, Donaldson, Campbell, Morgan, Clarkson, Everhart, Foster, Merrell, Hall, Neal, and many others who married into these families.
A special thank you also goes out to Earl Tope, Audrey Johnson, and Dale Maddux for the photographs included in the book, a few from the Civil War era or before, and many of the latter 19th and early 20th century people.
